Toccoa Falls for Life

For many people, abortion is a touchy topic. There are constantly debates, arguments, and new bills being proposed on the varying sides of the pro-life/pro-choice movement. At TFC, there are students who recognize the need to shed some light on these different arguments. Some of these students run Toccoa Falls for Life, a club that is geared towards educating students on the topic of abortion, and what it means to be pro-life.

This semester, the club has many fun events planned. So far, these events have taken place on the first Monday of each month and have consisted of a Horton Hears a Who movie night, and a night to play games and to watch some videos explaining how abortion works. The annual 5k took place on Nov 2, giving pro-life supporters a chance to show and raise support for the club and the pro-life movement.

The next event will be on Nov 4 at 7pm, and is called “Let’s Taco-Bout-It.” This event will give students the opportunity to enjoy tacos, while discussing abortion, the different types of abortions, and different ways to help support those who are struggling with the decision. Be sure to stay tuned on course pages and check out the posters on campus to learn about future events.
