2nd Annual Lip Sync Battle

Toccoa Falls College’s second annual Lip-Sync Battle is right around the corner. According to TFC student Kelsey Edmunds, “the event is a lot of fun, high energy, and it brings TFC students together.”

This year’s audience will hear some awesome songs from some of TFC’s favorite people. Hudson and Mackenzie Allen will be performing a sweet siblings duet of “Rewrite the Stars” while Jessi Taylor and Joe Dunn sing an entertaining selection from High School Musical. Other features from the night will include “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen and a special surprise performance from Taylor Barnes and Katie Hall. SGA’s president Seth VanHorn will be hosting the event with Will Enloe, and everyone is excited to see their MC skills.

As eager as TFC students are to see what songs everyone is doing, they are more excited to see who the winner will be. Last year’s winners were Stephen King and Josh Estes. They performed to the song “Closer” by the Chainsmokers complete with confetti and rehearsed choreography.

This year, there will be a cool prize for the first, second, and third place winners, making for an especially intense competition. Across campus, students are ready to see who will be taking home the prize.

The event is hosted by the SGA Campus Life committee and will take place in Woerner Mission room 104 on February 16 at 7 p.m. There will be coffee, cookies, and lots of fun! This is an event that you will not want to miss, so be sure to bring some friends and come watch the TFC Lip-Sync Battle of 2018!
