Future Scholar's Winner
Future Scholar's has already come and passed this year! It was a blast getting to meet so many new people, and see how excited many of them were to call TFC home in the near future! These high schoolers went through several interviews, which helped the judges to pick who would win a full ride to TFC. This year’s Future Scholars winner is Emily Johnson! Emily has already accomplished so much in her life, and she is only a senior in high school. Emily is deeply involved in both her high school and her town. She is the leader of the Dudley Baptist prayer breakfast for middle school girls, co-captain of their Fellowship of Christian Athletes, secretary of Skills USA, and is the chair for service projects for the Anchor Club. Because of all the compassion she has for her community she was named 2019 Distinguished Woman of Lauren County, which is where she is from. We are super excited for Emily to attend TFC next year. We know that she is going to be a great addition to our school. For her four years at TFC she plans to study secondary education, and we are thrilled for her to discover God’s calling even more deeply during her time here.
