DIY Halloween Costumes

Halloween is rapidly approaching which means you are probably searching for a cool costume to wear. Do not fear! I am here to give you my top five “Do it yourself” Halloween costume recommendations.

For female students, this is a simple idea you will love as a costume: Superman. All you need for this look is a classic white button down long sleeve blouse, a Superman shirt which you can find at your local Walmart, a black mini skirt that you can pair with black shoes of any kind, and last but not least your best pair of nerdy sunglasses. Remember to grab a red and blue stripped tie and suspenders to put on over your outfit, and you will be ready to take on the day!

A costume that makes you question if Christmas is in October is a costume worth trying. With a plain red and white stripped

short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, brown dress shoes, a red and white hat, and your very own walking cane, you will have the best Where’s Waldo costume in town!

For men, dressing up like The Joker is not as hard as you

think! To pull off this look you will need a Regular-Fit Stretch Sateen Dress Shirt in black, a red and blue stripped tie, a green formal button-down vest, black suit pants, and lastly a Men's Velvet Two-Button Blazer. Grab your best black dress shoes and deck of cards and your all set to go!

Ladies, I hope you are ready to lace up your combat boots!

Grab your best black skinny jeans and navy-blue long sleeve button down blouse, put your hair up and wrap around your very own red and white polka dotted hair band/red and white bandanna. Put on your red lipstick and you will be ready to take on the night as Rosie The Riveter!

Finally, if you own a black dress and you know how to braid

your hair this is the perfect look for you! Throw on your high-rise stockings with either high heels or black flats, and you will look like Wednesday Addams in no time!
